MDS (Multiplexed Digital System) is a digital audio and video door-entry system that integrates all the services of the apartment block or housing complex:
AUDIO AND VIDEO DOOR ENTRY SYSTEM.
INTERCOMMUNICATION between accesses, homes, guard units, and lifts.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT CONTROL according to authorisations to restricted areas. Each user has an identification code for all accesses.
SECURITY centralised in the guard unit, for protection of communal areas and control of incidents in the homes.
AUTOMATION of functions and services of the apartment block or condominium (sprinklers, lights, swimming-pool, etc.).
Allows to manage buildings and condominiums of whatever size.
MDS is a system with simplified BUS installation.
The CENTRAL UNIT incorporates all the electronics for management and control of the system.
The floor DECODERS connect the homes to the installation BUS and act as isolators. Home to outdoor panel communication is private.
There are 3 types of MDS systems, which can be combined in a housing complex:
MDS DIGITAL: Requires a Central Unit (CU Capacity: 9999 homes, , 32 accesses/guard units. Up to 63 Central Units can be connected. Incorporates all the MDS services. Can be used for both general entrances and internal apartment blocks.
MDS DIRECT: Does not require a Central Unit. Includes Access Control via keypad. Capacity: Up to 9999 homes in individual blocks and 99 homes in internal apartment blocks. Can be used for both general entrances and internal apartment blocks. Up to 9 accesses.
MDS CITY: Panel with pushbuttons. Up to 99 homes and 9 accesses. Does not require a Central Unit. Cannot be used as a general entrance.
MDS COMBINED WITH OTHER SYSTEMS: In the case of housing complexes, the flexibility of MDS makes it possible to combine general MDS entrances and internal apartment blocks with ADS or conventional 4+N audio or video door-entry system or with individual houses.
